My Canine Family
I am the proud owner of Luna, a Mastiff cross who is 18 months old and Dougal a Scottie who has just had his first birthday! Luna was originally a stray from Caerphilly and we adopted her from the Bath Cats and Dogs home in February this year. Dougal came to live with us about two months later due to a marriage break up. They provide constant entertainment and I can't imagine life without them.I originally looked at this site for guidance on head collars as Luna is very strong on the lead. Having read up on Haltis and Gentle Leaders I think I will probably opt for the Dogmatic type, when I can afford it, purely because it doesn't ride up the dog's nose towards its' eyes.
