Debit cards

Does anyone use a debit card for online shopping?
I've had one for a while now but never used it, always been a dubious about giving my out my details that are connected to my bank.
But i would really like to shop online safely.

I would only use a credit card on line as you can also make a claim on the bank if there are any problems. I once ordered some dog bowls on line and when it was obvious they were never going to arrive, the bank stepped in and reimbursed me. In fact, shopping on line is the only reason I have a credit card! I would also be wary of revealing my bank account details if I used a debit card.

The only info I've had to give is the expiry date, card number and the 3 digit security code. No account number or sort code or anything like that.

No never use my debit card. always use a credit card, its gives you a back up if you unfortunately get scammed, debit cards dont!

I have used my debit card loads of times and never had a problem. I don't have a credit card and must admit i would prefer to use it if I did.

I only use my credit card online a couple of times now someone has got hold of my credit card details and the credit card company have been very good to spot it quickly and i haven't had to worry about money actually going out of my account and then waiting for it to reimbursed.
