Having a baking day!
I've got bread dough rising as I type, and just melting my butter for hob nobs.Charlie has decided to make Welsh cakes at school tomorrow so he is going to try and make them when he gets home.
.... and I think I'm going to do some pastry later.

I have returned to bread making after a break of a couple of years and when looking for a new recipe for Granary Rolls on the internet I found a site that said forget about putting the dough to prove twice, kneed/shape/prove just once so I tried it and it worked (I use fresh not dried yeast ).
