I couldn't agree more. My two girls have got my unused plant pots, turned them upside down, and placed garden canes across them to make horse jumps. As I type this they are riding imaginary horses round the garden.

All those times too, when you buy them a good xmas/birthday pressie and they end up playing with the box

Well you know what they say.

"The best things in life are free"

(Except dogs of course, they can be quite pricey at times.)

Cool! Davie is watching our tadpoles with avid interest to see when the legs will grow.

He also was filthy today, but hey, kids are designed to be filthy and I always say dirt washes off and little boys are why God invented the washing machine

Ahhh, my wee lad helped me plant some flowers in my Nanna's garden on bank holiday Mon, he was also respectfully pitted by the time we'd done!

i remember my son with his first tool box, he spent hours in the garden banging nails in lumps of wood.
he also had a go-cart (home made one) he was the hit of the street.
but during the holidays we put up an old tent for him. we had most of the boys in the street in it. that was their camp.
