Jacks just been to emergency vet (not for the sqeamish, pics of blood)

Poor Jack, he cut his paw on some glass when he was out for his walk, Chris came in and went straight to the kitchen with him, I tried to have a look, but all that happened was blood kept dripping out it seemed like there was pools of blood, so I called the emergency vet, and we took him straight in, it's more of a puncture wound and didn't need stitches, but one of those wounds as soon as you touch it, it bleeds like mad, he's all bandaged up and feeling rather sorry for himself at the moment, poor love

If you don't like the sight of blood don't look at the second pic

This was my kitchen floor when we got home from the vets, some of it had already dried, he was only in the kitchen for about 5 mins

My Boxer did that, and on glass, was horrible blood everywhere. Hope Jack recovers well.

Oh poor Jack indeed. It is awful how people leave broken bottles etc on pavements, grassed areas and walkways. I do hope the bleeding will stop and he recovers quickly. It must have been an awful shock for him and for you and your hubby. I do hope the wound has stopped bleeding now.

Big hugs and healing thoughts to Jack and Loki sends doggy kisses.

Take care and please update on how he is.

Poor Jack - just look at him in the first pic hope his paw heals quickly.

Its amazing how much blood comes from a cut paw isnt it? - Princess jumped in a stream last year and cut one of her paw pads wide open - the blood was like something from reservoir dogs!!!!!!

give Jack some cuddles from us xxx
