Trying raw again.......

The botty explosions that followed my last foray into raw feeding are now a dim and distant memory, and my carpet is almost completely back to normal

What better time to try again, says I.....

I'm just sticking to Saturday evening meal at the moment, in case the fallout is extreme. At least then I have Sunday to clean it all up

I hope it works - as you can see they enjoy it so much. Tonights dinner was breast of lamb......

"The Duchess"

All three:

Lennon was first past the finish post: "Please mum, can I have some more?"

Cleaning materials on stand-by.

Wish me luck.....

Well looks like they are enjoying it even if there botties don't I don't feed Ollie lamb as it can upset their tummies.
He gets chicken wings and poultry necks for his bones. Plus the ground bone in his food. Have never tried him on lamb as I am not as brave as you.

i've just started bonnie back on the raw ( i had the same problem as you) just mornings at the mo, with kibble at night.
so far so good!!!!

i've often thought i gave her too much thats what caused to botty explosions.

hope it works for you too.

When I tried it before, they were just getting one chicken wing in the morning. They loved it, and Roxy and Lennon were fine. Mya, however, is a different matter
Let's hope it works out ok.....

Great pics! The dogs look like they are really enjoying it. I love seeing dogs tuck into a decent raw feed. Just take it slowly on introducing each type of raw meat; that way you might find the culprit causing the botty rot.

Like Hectorsmum I found that larger feeds can produce "excess gas" at the other end.

Good Luck!!

this is the only stench that has ever made me chuck :smt078

Well, it's the morning after....... and I'm delighted to report that there has been no fallout whatsoever.

All three have "been" and stools are solid.

I shall just keep it to once a week for a while, then maybe increase it slowly......

Have to say I am extremely chuffed
