Gem again sorry

Thought I would tell a wee bit more about Gem and her family. We had her sister Bonnie into rescue in March, then we got Gem and now we're getting their brother. All from the same breeder. We have now had the mum spayed so at least we know there won't be any more pups from her. This is part of the phone call from the woman that has the brother.

" Is that staffie rescue?"
" Yes,. what can I do to help?" (sound polite and proffessional don't I? )
" I want you have my dog?"
"Pardon, you want me to rehome your dog"
"Yip"
So I ask her all the usual question, you know is the dog of sound temperament, is he housetrained, has he bitten anyone that sort of thing. She said he was fine. I soon discovered that he was Gem and Bonnie's brother, so I asked:

"Does Deisel have a skin problem?"
"Yes Deisel has skin"
"No I asked does he have a skin problem?
"Yes and I say he has skin!"
By this time I thought well we'll just go and pick him up.
"Can we come and collect him today."
"no today, this day I get me nails done"

As I was away friday and saturday, we are going to pick him up tomorrow, monday. Well I don't know what I'm going to pick up. All I know is it's a dog with skin, which in my book is a good start
I'm sorry if I'm laughing but I think it's quite funny.

So what reason did she give for not wanting him anymore?

Not enough dog biscuits in the tin to own a dog (If you get my meaning... ) by the sound of it.

The reason for not wanting the dog anymore was the landlord said they were not allowed dogs in the flat. The woman left me a message to call her so I've just got off the phone to her and she said the dog has run away. I don't believe her I think she saw £££££££ and has sold him. It's a worry but there is nothing I can do about it. I just hope that the wee scone has a good life
