I thought it would be nice to start a thread remembering all the victims of the terrible attacks on this date 5 years ago.

So sad that so many lost their lives
Our thoughts are with you
RIP xx

It is still very hard to watch images from that day. It was a real life nightmare.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of all those who lost their lives.

RIP to everyone

For those who suffered and those whose lives were changed......
The September 11 Photo Project - Michael Feldschuh,

" I witnessed the fall of the burning towers and the death of thousands of people just blocks from where I live. I had taken my camera with me that morning and in a crowd of people took photos while in deep shock, fearing for the lives of those trapped and the rescue workers rushing to save them, I have never felt so helpless in my life"
Written by Michael Feldschuh

The September 11 Photo Project will use its proceeds from the sale of the book to continue its mission, and to support the New York City Firefighters Burn Center Foundation.

I'll be thinking of those that lost their lives and all those whose lives have been affected by the events. I don't think there will be an official remembrance in London today so at 1.46pm today i'll say a little prayer.

There SHOULD be an official remembrance IMO. I too shall be saying a prayer for the families left behind following such a dreadful tragedy.

Rest in peace all those that lost their lives on this most fateful of days.

I shall be having my usual 1 minute silence as I have every year since. I used to work in a Stockbroking office and we always had it - this year I shall be on my own but I will always remember those that lost their lives and those they left behind.
