Remembering 9/11 (merged)

I thought it would be nice to start a thread remembering all the victims of the terrible attacks on this date 5 years ago.

So sad that so many lost their lives

Yes its a day to remember those innocents who lost their precious lives- a very sad day

its a day in History that shold never be forgotton ...

special thought to all those who lost their lives and the loved ones left behind xxxxxx

It is still very hard to watch images from that day. It was a real life nightmare.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of all those who lost their lives.

The September 11 Photo Project will use its proceeds from the sale of the book to continue its mission, and to support the New York City Firefighters Burn Center Foundation.

I'll be thinking of those that lost their lives and all those whose lives have been affected by the events. I don't think there will be an official remembrance in London today so at 1.46pm today i'll say a little prayer.

There SHOULD be an official remembrance IMO. I too shall be saying a prayer for the families left behind following such a dreadful tragedy.

Rest in peace all those that lost their lives on this most fateful of days.

I shall be having my usual 1 minute silence as I have every year since. I used to work in a Stockbroking office and we always had it - this year I shall be on my own but I will always remember those that lost their lives and those they left behind.
