It's been recomended to me by other GSD owners as a cheap but good dry food.

Does anyone on here use it?

Hi,
Ive fed this to my lot & its great. Its cheap because the working version (silver) is VAT free & its also alot lower in protein than most.
Ive recommended it to quite a few people & they have all said their dogs love it & look great on it

We feed all our dogs on Dr Johns Silver and Gold. We have 2 Siberian Huskies, 2 Labradors and 2 Border Collies. They all seem to enjoy the food, which is primarily designed for working dogs. The cost is exceptional at £6.49 and £7.49 respectively. The quality has not been jeopardised and all our dogs are fit and healthy with shiny coats!

All kibbles are cereals and fillers really, some are just a bit better than others...No kibble has more than 20 odd % meat content and that's as good as it gets, 80 odd % is still fillers no matter what. The more expensive kibbles just have a bit more meat of a bit better quality and the fillers arn't as crap as some of the others...lol

I always tried to go for the best out of a bad bunch but even then it is never perfect
