my new boy sam (english springer)

hi there,

well as some of you know i have been looking for a rescue springer for some weeks now. i decided to take the plunge after losing my little boy benson in january. i spoke to one rescue centre who i'd been waiting to hear from for 3 weeks for a home visit. i then found another on the internet last tuesday. i rang them up and they said to write a letter with all my details and why i wanted to re-home a rescue springer. i did that, they received the letter on weds, rang the vets up, i passed that. then glyn (the rescue owner) said he'd speak to me in a couple of days. the phone rang on friday afternoon, and by tea-time i was driving over to bury to see a rescue springer he had. to cut a long story short, my new boy came back with us! he's such a sweetie. he's 5 years old, and had only just been handed in to springer rescue that day. you'd think he'd been with me forever. i signed for him today. so he's officially mine!!! . bronte is being a bit wary of him, but there has been no aggression from either of them, so hopefully so far so good. i will post some piccies very soon. !!! xx
