Yogi, DOB 04/2014, Male, Saluki x Lurcher
Yogi Saluki x Lurcher DOB 04.2014 Chessington Kenns
Yogi needs an aware family who gets his lurcher traits and needs. He needs further training to step away from his impoverished background and achieve a good foundation. Yogi could live with respectful children providing the entire family and visitors were conscious of exit security and he was able to express his energy within a secure 6' fences boundaries. Yogi will need a training line to socialise outside with the insurance he wasn't spooked by loud noises or follow via his chase drive. Yogi will probably not manage cats, feathers or small furries. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.
Known background: Yogi was found stray unchipped and unclaimed. We have come forwards for him. Yogi is now neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Yogi is currently in boarding kennels near Chessington.
About Yogi: Yogi just has that meditative air! His sight hound credentials mean he is watchful, with his penetrating though reserved gaze. Meeting Yogi to meet a puppy dog. Yogi prances, engages and wants to play. He is learning about the loving care of 'keepers' and he is delighted to greet and meet everyone within his kennel or out on his walk.
Yogi is around 11 months old and is Lurcher with Saluki traits giving him his innate gentle, reticent and reserved demeanour. Pale fawn coat which is so soft to touch. Slender by frame but of a weight more fitting to him, than when he first came in. Yogi deserves a good diet, good exercise and good socialisation for him to come through into adulthood with the sense of arrival and achievement and command to move forwards into a hither to blessed life.
