Flying

An Irish man took a flight from London to New York on a plane with 4 engines.

Half an hour into the flight the pilot came on the tannoy and announced " ladies and gentlemen, we have got a bit of trouble with one of the engines so we are shutting it down. There is nothing to worry about it only means we will be half an hour late at New York airport.
Two hours into the flight again the captain made an announcement.

"ladies and gentlemen, the second engine has failed so we have shut that one down as well, but nothing to worry about these planes can safely fly on two engines. All it means we will now be three hours late at our destination.

Another two hours passed and again the captain came over the tannoy saying

"Ladies and gentlemen the third engine has just failed but this aircraft can still fly on one engine but we as New York is nearer than London we are still going on but we will be six hour late arriving"


The Irishman turned to the person in the seat beside him and said " if we loose the last engine it is going to take all day to get to New York"
