Would challenge the idea re the most scenic place. Pretty good though

First time i went I was living in West Cork so a long drive and was not terribly impressed.

Last year I went in at the Kenmare end then out via Glengarriff and still was not all that keen,, Did not do the whole Ring but cut across the Healy Pass which freaked me out. It is a Famine road ie built by starving men fighting to feed their families and being paid almost nothing for a day slaving in that bleak place.

Desolate and hopeless and even thinking about it ... yukk..

Will find a different way and come out near Kenmare again...and there were abundant berries there!

1975 when I was last there! Wish I could visit again. Too old now!

I see so many at the stall both private tourists and on coaches in wheelchairs and scooters.

I am here at 71 after all.. no age limit...Knew an old man in Leitrim who was walking the lanes in his 90s

Well heavy rain on the roof..will decide in the next hour if am out today.. forecast iffy both today and tomorrow so we shall see.. need to replace the gas bottle etc etc etc.. will inspect the sky at first light Go out sniffing the air!
