The great escape !

Plotting an away day hopefully Saturday!

Leaving here around 7 am in the early glory of peace..

West Cork sea shores and many places I loved when I lived that way.... dropping in at as many charity shops as i can find.. I have four possibles...

Picnicking probably unless old friends feed me...

No trading.... sitting by beaches, gathering shells... breathing in the sea air....

Not done this for months.. tends always to become work associated but there we are..

Ahh, I hope you have a good time. I want so bad to take my Nigredo to the beach (he has never been) but it's soooo far and I have to make a special trip I have not been able to plan yet. Need a swimsuit etc. anyway.

Hopefully you will take lots of piccies to show people, I'd love to see where ever you go. Always interested in different countries. Are you doggies going with you?

Bah! I wanna go to the beach... makes me want to go even more now.

What a beautiful place. I understand that the dogs can get in the way, especially the oldies who need special care. Many beaches here actually ban dogs because people tend to bring IFFY dogs that can threaten children and whatnot, so to take my captain to a beach we have to go very far.

I hope you have a great time and take some photos

absolutely! I am flying! It had been a terrible few weeks and at last i am coming through... Love driving here. Soaring I am!

The only real money I spent was on petrol. Shows that a day out does not have to cost.

I found I did not want ice cream etc.. So I did not bother.

Stopped at LIDL in Kenmare for essentials like cat food and whiskey ( for the marmalade) and bought a carton of orange and pear juice from the chilled cabinet and drank half of it there and then
