My first experience of a dog rolling in something nasty

Out in the fields with Oz ,Snoop and Coco..
Ozzie decided to roll in something nasty it did not look fecal so it was probably dead deer bits ... l
I looked back and he was having the time of his life and took him a while to recall ,when he did he stunk . and started to attract flies ..lol

Why do dogs enjoy it so much ..

Well Rosie doesn't roll in stuff that she can eat but I'm treated to poo breath sometimes.

I was informed that if she does roll in fox poo that tinned tomatoes do a good job of deodorising it. Thankfully I've not had to try it.

Aw Murf you should've taken him in to the British Gas headquarters and not budged till they sorted your bill out, you could've said you can't afford the hot water to bathe him till they get it sorted.... opportunity missed there lol x

Rucksack is an eater and roller Tomato ketchup rubbed in first is fantastic and when then washed out removes disgusting smells and stains.

Amateurs..........................

One of my dogs can detect malodorous rolling opportunities with the pin point accuracy of a heat seeking missile.

Eau de Reynard is to me what Febreze is to others, permanently present............ (hangs head in shame).....

I remember several years ago when I still stayed with my parents and we had an Alsatian/Collie cross called Ringo, I was 19 and had been out late the night before, woke up a bit hungover and went to the couch to Ringo and gave him a big hug and petted his head while giving him a kiss on his forehead, I said "oh man you stink" to which my mum responded "oh that's right, I forgot he was rolling in a dead cat this morning"
Thank's mum!!!
