Forgetful?

I am not normally bad for forgetting dates, but I just made a huge idiot forgetful mistake.

My older sister is a bit of a cow - to put it politely and forgetting things is a bit quarm and she's pregnant atm so the hormones are flinging about. Anyway the little sis and I have just realised it was her 1st wedding anniversary on Monday! And we forgot it!

She hasn't said much though when we apologised - just thanks. So hopefully we're not too much in trouble!

Oh Gawd I don't even do sibling birthdays unless some social network flashes it up and I just post a 'happy birthday' wouldn't even have a clue when the anniversaries of my five siblings are! Can't even remember all my own from the past!

I have a brain like a sieve, if it isn't written down somewhere I WILL forget it.

I don't know my own anniversary never mind any of my siblings or parents!

TBH actually, if I was married, I wouldn't be expecting anything from anyone other than my husband!

Then again - last year when my Mum was writing down dates on the calendar of birthdays, anniversaries etc I told her not to forget 13th August and she was like "Why?" and all that came out of my mouth was "Your Granddaughters first birthday" I don't think I'm as bad.

I know all the immediate families birthdays, the anniversary of my parents, mine and the OH's engagement anniversary and when he first asked me out, I know the dogs birthdays, the date we picked them up, the cats birthday, friends birthdays - but I forgot this one!

I don't generally "do" birthdays, sisters and daughter and OH are about all I can manage, I struggle with them, anniversaries have no chance!

I am terrible at remembering dates! My mum used to remind me but sadly she is no longer with us.

I put them in my filofax, laptop and my phone, so there is no chance of me forgetting!

I can't remember my own anniversary let alone anyone else's. I forgot the OH's birthday last week and to make matters worse I remembered the EX's the week before. What can I say except senility is creeping in
