Defrosting

Does anyone know if it is it safe to give a dog a partially defrosted raw bone? What I mean is, does it have to be completely defrosted or is it safe to give a sort of raw meaty bone lollipop?

It's just that I have one defrosting now and Loki is getting very impatient.

I think it goes back to the old thing of if your dog chews them properly, it should last longer though.

DEFROSTING!!!!!!!! Mine get them frozen....frozen bones, chicken carcasses etc.Love 'em. We must remember a dogs digestive system is different to ours and they can deal with things we can't.

Mine get them frozen too, all their meat, everything, unless its raining and I want them to eat in the house then I defrost it so it can go in bowls other than that they get their meat outside frozen keeps them occupied a little longer that way and less chance of guzzleing it down when they have to work at getting bits off.
