Epileptic dog

very interested in use of multivitamin and vitamin b for control of fits. my poor black lab 5 yrs suffered from random fits since 18 mths old. Episodes of cluster fits for whole week in april absolute nightmare. started on epiphen 60 mg x 6 tabs daily. Reduced slowly to 2 twice daily 12 hrs apart then 1+ 1/2 twice daily. After 3 weeks small head twitching noted i increased tabs back up to 4 daily as he was going to dog boarder for 2 weeks. Tried again to reduce + twitching noted but luckily no fits. Vet has now prescibed epilease 1000mg x1 + now starting to reduce again. epiphen 60 mg x2 am and 1 1/2 + epilease 1000mg at night. Do we ignore twitches or are they aura of fit. ???? elizabeth B
