Good morning everyone - Tuesday!

Morning all,

Phew! That’s Monday out of the way

Today should be pretty “normal” – well, as normal as my job gets. One of my techs has hurt his back and has been signed off for a week. He won’t be able to cover his next four-day shift starting today..... I managed to get cover for today and Friday – I just need Wednesday and Thursday now, and it’s all sorted.

Fingers crossed please!

Hubby on early's nought wrong with that except the alarm went off a 3.30 to get him up and I have been up ever since too just wondering when bedtime comes

All dogs still asleep, funny how they never get up at 3.30 sensible creatures

I am feeling quite despondent as I have a lot of weight to lose and I have been working out hard at the gym this last week, using my bike instead of the car where I can and eating so carefully and healthily it hurts and I have put on yet another lb. Its no different to when I do none of that. Every week I put on a pound. I just don't understand it. I have 6 stone to lose but instead I am gaining.

Madmare, remember when you are going to the gym you are building muscle which is heavier than fat, so you will see weight gain to start with. You will see it all paying off soon...trust Lore....

Davie seems to have a cold so he's off today, he woke with hardly any voice, it's better now he's up but he's supposed to have swimming and I don't want him getting worse. I've got a load of washing to do, ironing and then I'm off to the gym.

Pretty regular day at work for me today. I need to arrange to rebook my balloon flight, we couldn't go yesterday as it was quite cloudy and chance of showers so it was cancelled
