Don't Dogs Have Tastebuds..??

My neighbour locked himself out yesterday so i went out to try and help him, it was lunchtime and i was half way through scoffing a Bombay Bad Boy Pot Noodle, which if you aren't aware if you add all the hot sauce is SPICY which i left on the desk. When i came back in i had to do a double take, Lilly had jumped up and dragged it onto the floor and eaten the lot, now i love spicy food and it's called a Bad Boy for a reason but how in the heck did she wolf the lot and not even seem to notice/care about the spice or take on any extra water..??

Holly used to jump up the side and steel food when she was young until one day she got a pot of curry sauce - she never did it again.... lol

No chance of that happening here.. I don't think I could eat a pot noodle

Guess that dogs taste buds are wired differently to ours

i know they can def "smell" through their tongues as wel as their noses. In Ob some dogs will "taste" the cloths to be certain of the right one, & some dogs take the scent by biting the hand or cloth rather than sniffing it!

Anyway even if she couldnt taste it like we do it must have been a really strong smell!!!!!
