Kismet Scare... Recall test!

I have workmen in and out of the house at the moment and a stir crazy Kismet as you know...

Well...

I thought's she'd been quiet for a while, pottering about in the garden. So I wandered out to see she was ok... No Kismet...

Garage door open, garage front open! Kismet was nowhere in sight..

I of course run straight off down the road.

"KISMET!"

There are a group of tracksuited lads over the road. They point into a nearby garden "You looking for a dog?" They shout... Then I see her... She sees me.. She's the other side of the road!

"WAIT!" - She stops... "SIT!" She sits...

I look both ways, cross the road, then call her.. She races straight to me and sits in the smartest recall you have ever seen!

What a lucky escape!

The nice Karate club lads were keeping an eye on her and trying to catch her and the road she had crossed is part of the housing estate and not busy.. Lucky she went that way into the quiet estate and not the other way on to the main road!

I'm still shaking!

But so glad I have been drilling her with distance commands and recall!

Poor you, you must be/have been a wreck, still must make you feel good that all the training is paying off. Well done you and Kismet!

What a clever girl waiting and recalling and well done you for staying calm.
