Not much of the eclipse will be seen today It is so overcast and miserable, I blame the continentals sending us their smog
Hair dressing day today, so I will be all posh when I see you later xx

Good morning Jen, will be watching it on the box, it's safer! Have a good hairdo am going to have my done next Tuesday first time in years. Not sure how much I shall have cut off but it is far too long at the moment.

Have got the gout back asked Steve to walk Amber he refused so with a shoe half on half off had to limp out there with her as best I could. I hope to God that son of mine suffers with it as he gets older. He wont get any sympathy from me.

Good morning fellow members It started as a sunny morning here but has now clouded over and gone very still. I am off to town to get some bits and pieces for my bedroom and having a day off from the decorating. I feel about 90 aching all over.

Two bedrooms done , the new carpets should arrive next week and I am moving on to decorating the hall and stairs now.

Hope the hair dresser does a good job for you Jenny. I had a text message from mine saying I was due for an appointment but as she cut it so short last time it will last quite a bit longer

Very overcast down here that the eclipse made no difference to the daylight we already have Teazle walked now having a coffee. Have also put in some sweet pea seedlings to hope they survive. OH has had a thought (oh no please!) he had one yesterday and worked on the roof window of the green house from 10.00am to 2.30pm with no luck (doesn't look at instructions properly.) I took over and within half an hour it was put together and installed - you literally have to do it piece by piece not think oh that bit goes there. The other bit that gets me is it says you have to put this foam strip lateraly and not horizontal eh? it means the same surely

Camera isn't capturing it at all,those clouds are a burnt orange colour,it's absolutely gorgeous Its hard on the eyes so I'm averting
