Hello From Ireland

Hi everyone at Dogsey!!
Hoping this message finds everyone well and in good spirits!!

I have a pure-bred black Labrador. Her name is Ciárna and she will be coming two on the 1st of September. She has been through 5 operations before the age of one. Last year was a very very stressful year but this year has been completely different thank God!!! She is settling down a good bit and is behaving more like a mature dog.

Hi Rubster, I am so sorry that your labrador had to go through 5 operations as well. I'm sure it was a very stressful year for you. I was a nervous wreck. Ciárna's 5th operation was this year in March. She had her Spay operation. After the operation though she took an allergic reaction towards the spay. On the 27th of September 2010 Ciárna went through her fourth major operation which was her hip replacement. It was a four and a half hour operation.
If you were anything like me Rubster, which I am sure you were, you spent your days worrying and thinking of the worst.

Thank God Ciárna is doing really well now and the worst days are behind her. How is your Labrador now and what is his/her name? When is his/her birthday? Ciárna's is on the 1st of September.
