I've been to Catton Park a couple of times, it's got a lovely river running through it where you can sit and chill out if it's a nice day (it's normally been warm when i've gone).

Aimee, the scurries held at Catton are run by BASC and I find them a bit serious TBH. Scurry Bandits for example make it a bit more fun and even if you're dog is making a hash of things, Bob will let you carry on and finish although you wont score anything. BASC just stop you if you get eliminated and dont appear to see the funny side of a dog making a mess of it's run.

Ahh thanks for that Leanne. So they'll not be like the blokes at Chatsworth who didn't mind me using it as a practice run.. Will the Scurry Bandits be there? You've mentioned them so they've been there before?

Are you going to come along?

No, Scurry Bandits wont be at the BASC Game Fair, they do the Countryman Fairs.

Maybe the stewards on the scurry will be ok this year but I just found them to be a bit miserable and serious. As long as you pay I guess they cant mind you using it as a bit of training but dont expect them to be amused by anything! Flynn jumped over the fence to fetch the dummy instead of the bales and the steward wasnt impressed, just barked "elimination!" at me.

Not sure if i'm going tbh, depends on money, weather etc. Once you've been to one game fair, you've been to them all really!
