Animal Friends insurance

Has anyone heard of them?

Apparently the profits go to rescues...

I have heard BAD things about them.
Was on another forum, and someone looked into it, and the profits didn't go to rescues.

They are underwritten by E & L, who if you search for, will find a LOT of bad things about.
They don't pay up etc

I will try to find it Tuti....It was the middle of last year I read it!
But whilst I try and find it, do a search on google.co.uk for E & L, and have a look through, you may find some links to other forums with peoples experiences of them on.

Honestly though, I have never read a good comment about E & L/Animal Friends

I have just been looking through some of the threads (TV Vet) and had just been looking at Emma the Vets web page a few minutes before and on her site is a link to E&L. Had never heard of them before and then suddenly they crop up twice in just a few minutes.

Never heard of them - I'd stick to a name you can trust!

E&L or equine and livestock have been around a long time but as been posted have a reputation for finding reasons not to pay and for dragging the process out

Ive heard of them....Im insured with them & i dont know why every-one seems to think they are so bad??
They have been FANTASTIC with my amy & when she had a large vet bill (£1000) they paid straight away & direct to my vet.

The proceeds do also go to various charities, they send out a news letter every so often naming who has benefited & you can nominate a charity if you want.
