New home or rescue place needed - 3 year old Pomeranian X
Junior is looking for a home or a rescue placement. He is a male, neutered, 3 year old Pomeranian cross. He was supposedly a Pomeranian x Chihuahua, but is around the 4kg mark so potentially a different Pomeranian cross.
Junior developed some guarding issues when his owner became pregnant. Unfortunately, since the baby arrived, this has escalated and he will growl and snap at his owners when the baby is crying. They are hoping to find him a new home before Mum is left home alone with baby next week.
Other than these guarding issues, Junior has no behavioural or health problems, other than a bit of typical small dog yapping once in a while! He is good off-lead, fine with other dogs, travels well and is housetrained. He is used to being left home alone and is not destructive.
Junior is currently based in Surrey. Ideally, he would go straight into a dog-savvy home with someone who can manage his guarding issues. However, due to the urgency of the situation, a rescue space would also be appreciated.
