it will never go through because some vets advise against the vacc for certain animals

I treat these petitions as an awareness exercise rather than something actually resulting from it. So no harm in signing it really.

Unless my dogs take an adverse reaction to annual jabs, I'll always give them the boosters.

I can remember 20 odd years ago the parvo epidemic in UK. thousands of dogs died, the queues outside all the vets in our area were horrendous.

Viruses mutate all the time and vacines need to be updated all the time.
