It must be the blood moon they have been talking about.

It would be nice to see a real life photo of this. Can't see anything outside my house, it's too cloudy

Its in a different position tonight and quite low. I had to walk up my garden and look over the field to see it. Mars is also very bright tonight and it was to the left of mars and lower in the sky.

My son has driven out from his to find a field to get a photo. My camera is rubbish and won't take one that doesn't look like a pin prick in the distance.

Here are a couple of photos my son took earlier before the moon changed back to its normal colour.

Oh WOW Bev. I saw on the news 2 days ago though, that the moon was having an eclipse with the sun and that it would turn completely orange with the sun's light behind it, but it could only be seen in Florida and the Indian Ocean so I gave up looking at it I wish they'd told us we would eventually get to see an orange moon out there

Such a shame that we couldn't get to see the Lunar eclipse in this country. Apparently there is another on May 10th that we might get to see.

Here is my attempt at the full moon 2 days ago, with Mars visible just above it.
