What do you feed your GSDs (and similar type dogs)?

Just curious what you feed your GSD?

Alfie is on Chappie at the moment, as he went on it for his sensitive stomach and he actually gets on really well with it and really likes it so he is happy on that, but I'm not sure I would be happy feeding it to a GSD.....

I feed mine Arden Grange, if you buy from the right place it is great value for money. We sell it for 32.99 per 15kg atm, 2 bags for 57.95, but its cheaper elsewhere. RRP's over £40. 15kg bag will last my GSD about a month. Our AG rep tells us the people who originally designed the food were experienced GSD breeders...

I feed Zara skinners and I chop and change the flavour now and again. She also gets various natural treats, such as fish4dogs.

Wagg Sensitive atm for my GSD cross, but it doesn't suit him (itching) so will be changing him back to something maize free as that seems to be what's causing the problem. He also gets Butcher's Tripe which is good stuff imo.

My two are fed raw.

I know a few people who feed their GSDs chappie and they thrive on it

It is what suits your individual dog. For example, Harley can eat pretty much anything (except for fish or things with fish in), and not have a bad tum from it. Jess on the other hand, is stupidly sensitive (well, she was when she was on kibble), and most stuff goes through her really easily (apart from raw). So, although the same breed, they have very different tummies.

My GSDs have Arden Grange and do very well on it. I changed to CSJ for a while but they didn't seem to do so well on it, so we went back to AG.
