Bee sting

Evening all! Poor Stan has just been stung by a bee/wasp (although pretty sure a bee)spoken to vet, have given him anti histamine ,lips swollen, very miserable/sad😢obviously we are watching him but am just wondering how long will initial symptoms will be? Trying to remember when I've been stung. Poor boy but he's so silly will try & catch all flying insects, surprised not happened before.

When Jade was stung, her face swelled instantly. Gave her a piriton and it started to go down 5 or 6 hours later. I imagine it's different for every dog.

Piriton from chemists! He's about 7 kilos ,gave him 1 initially then down to half. You can dose them every 8 hrs if needed(vets instructions)but sometimes makes them sleepy. He's still a bit swollen but much happier back to normal self & would you believe chasing insects still, grr!
