Is this a stupid thing to say?

Earlier, I told Takara 'don't be disgusting' while she was raiding the bin for sanitary towels

I then realised - is that a pretty stupid thing to say to a dog or what?!

I have quite long conversations with Daisy, she doesn`t understand a word, but I cant help it, I am always talking to her, especially when we are on our own. Sometime my husband shouts down the stairs, are you talking to me, I should back no the dog.

Well i talk to my cat like a human - . I'm sure i'll do that with the dog when i eventually get her

Actaully i remember a funny story only about a month ago. My OH was hiding in the house to suprise me when i got back from work. Anyway i came in and my cat jumped up on me (like she does every evening) And i started saying 'Hi Jaf, how was your day today, well mine was OK, bit angry with *** at work, he's not being very nice, well im sure you had a fun day, would you like to eat now?'

Next thing i know my OH is curled up in hysterics in the kitchen
He thought it was hilarious!
