I posted on your video, as well. But, yes... even though this device might help some dogs from gobbling up their food, it won't work with all dogs.

Nigredo would see this piece of crap floating on top of his food and immediately move it out of his bowl before then gobbling up his food. Useless? No. Useful for all dogs? Also, no.

In all the trials not one dog tried to remove the disc all the various dog owners who have tried the disc have said how good it is.but your entitled to your opinion even though you haven't tried it.

You're right, I haven't tried it. But seeing as there is no solid proof that it works, why would I buy it? I also am struggling to believe that no dogs tried to remove a random piece of plastic floating in their food.

I didn't see the tests, so how am I to know that no dogs tried to remove it? The only video I have seen of it being used was the video that you linked to. Which didn't show a lot honestly.

Knowing my dog, he might try to remove it and just gobble down his food... or perhaps he'd think it was a toy and remove it and begin to play with it. Who knows?

I'd have liked to have seen a "before" depiction of a greedy gobbling dog and THEN seen it placed into the dogs bowls, not just seeing two dogs eating from bowls with the device already in there.

It didn't show if dogs that were proven to be greedy would actually pay any attention to the device. Looks like questionable marketing IMO. I also don't see any testimonials or other videos of the device being used.

Did any dogs reject it such as refusing to eat their food? Are there potential health hazards? What is it made of? How long does it last? No real information about the device at all. I checked the site you listed, and couldn't even find the device.

The device itself (just looks like a Frisbee with holes cut into it) and the way it's being advertised is likely to put people off, and not just me. I won't say anything else about the device, because like you said... I have not tried it.

Yes I agree mine would have had it out of the bowl in seconds, what did help was placing a large stone into the middle of the bowl they had to eat around it which slowed them down. I believe you can buy bowls with a raised middle now that have the same effect.

Yes, Julie. I'm sure Nigredo would snatch that thing out of his bowl instantly as well. The fact that he ignored my questions and had no real answers kind of says a lot. This product doesn't look useful and totally isn't worth buying IMO.

Wouldn't work with my dogs as they are fed raw & TBH don't gobble their food anyway

Looks messy to clean if you use wet food too, I want mine to eat reasonably slowly but not have to struggle and get frustrated. And I want to be able to clean it all up easily not have half the meal off the back of a holey frisby

A Beagle would use his feet to scrabble it out - and in doing so, scatter his lunch all over the floor!
