Dog PTS cause he is to big

I have just found out that a Leonberger called T.J was PTS because the owner thought that he was to big for thier new house.

Unfortuneatly the breeder only found out when it was to late to stop this from happening as they would of taken him back. How these people can sleep at night is beyond me there is no excuse for this to happen.

This is why it is important to understand what you are taking on in any giant breed to stop this sort of disgusting behaviour and save the lives of future pups.

Do you know if the vet contacted any rescues before killing a perfectly healthy animal for such a silly reason - if not he should be ashamed of himself

Thats really sad! Some people just buy dogs as status symbols for one reason or another. The owners deserve the same treatment as poor TJ had!

Must say I did loads of reading up before I even got Holly. Even after reading loads it was still a culture shock for me!

If that was the reason they gave to the vet Lel. Sadly not everyone tells the truth.
