Otters

Does anyone else like otters? They're awesome! I don't live in a beach state so no one talks about them over here as much, but I still like them.

Oh I love otters. I always liked them but a couple of years ago saw one just feet from me under one of the bridges over the river Ness. I've been completely besotted since.

Thanks Lesley for linking my pics X

I'm heading to Shetland soon so should have some new pics.

There was a fantastic program on TV tonight Rachel but you may not have access to it in the US as it was on the BBC ?

I too love otters and amazingly saw an otter about 20 years ago here on the River Thames. It swam over to where I was standing, surfaced about two foot away and then disappeared again. I ended up phoning the environment agency as otters 'don't' live on this bit the River with the man-made camp-shedding and very few natural banks. They confirmed that there was a pair of otters which had been seen 400 metres up river. It was fanastic and an image I will never forget.
