How old is the dog? Let it sleep on a dog bed beside yours and take it out when it needs to go. Should soon learn to last overnight unless you are expecting it to wait too long anyway.

This is quite common and usually seems to be 'empty tummy syndrome'. Often cured by feeding a couple of biscuits/handful of kibble or something similar last thing at night.

I also use Bioflow magnetic collars for my oldies and have done for years. Many dogs really benefit from them though I have had odd ones that did not appear to feel any better for wearing one.
