About me
Born in Charing Cross police station. Lived in London all my life until four years ago when I emigrated to a coastal village in Cornwall, a plan I formed in 1980. I intend to remain here forever, despite the non-stop rain. Worked in fashion, then journalism before joining Met Police. Retired at the earliest opportunity to move to where I am now. Volunteer at Castle Goff, a local small cat sanctuary, where I act as chamber maid to the resident cats, cleaning out their pens, feeding and cuddling them etc. Read lots, favourite author as a child was Enid Byton who set many of her books in Cornwall. Vegetarian (almost 100% Vegan now) since staying on relatives' farm as a child and discovering exactly what was going to happen to the calf I'd been bottle-feeding for a month. Happy with my life.
