Dogsey

Our 10 year old daughter (Katie - hence my login name) has wanted a dog for over a year and we have been thinking long and hard about it as we lead very busy lives running our own business and doing a lot of voluntary work. She has had chickens and rabbits for a while now and as her commitment to them has grown (as she has got older) we have decided that she and I (as I am under no illusion as to who will have to lead most of training, walking etc!) are ready to have the dog she so desperatley wants. I have read up so much on this website, spoken to our vet etc, but am sure I will need help from more experienced dog owners! Please be gentle as I am a 'dog novice' and may ask daft questions, but I want to get things right for all concerned! Diana
