About me
I was born in Cardiff and moved to South Africa with my parents in 1965. We lived in Port Elizabeth, and in 1973 I left home to start work in Cape Town, eventually marrying a Capetonian. We live on a smallholding midway between Bellville and Somerset West in the Northern area of the greater Cape Town metropolitan area. My children both having moved to Johannesburg, my husband and I tend to rattle around in this huge place, but my canine children love the wide open spaces. Having lost a sixth member of my doggy family last week to old age (Georgette, a beautiful JR cross), I have been feeling as if a bright light has gone out of my life, but I am very lucky to have my other brats to help me through the mourning period.
