About me
I started training my own dogs to competition level 30 years ago, then progressed to training other people and their dogs, both in classes and on a one to one basis for both training and behavioural issues. I have been an associate BIPDT and was one of the first 150 trainers in the UK to become an APDT approved trainer. Have also in the past been the area Helpline for PADS, and have helped various local branches of breed rescue to assess/rehome their dogs. I ran my own dog boarding kennels for 12 years. I no longer train other people as I got to the stage where I really wanted to grab the owners by the throat and shake them. I live with my dog in a tichy cottage and most of my social life seems to be dog-related still. Am training my current dog and hope to do more Obedience and try some Agility, but am honestly no longer very competetive, have shocking timing with a clicker and can't run very fast.
