About me

Where do I start!? I originally lived in Lancashire up til the age of 10 where I developed a passion for animals and animal welfare as a result of my grandparents being farmers and owning their own farm. Then I moved to North Wales with my parents where I continued collecting pets(!) and started aiming towards getting in to study Veterinary Medicine. Alas that never happened. In the meantime I've spent years and years working with a wide range of animals from exotics to horses and everything in between. I am a keen horse rider. I moved to County Durham to be nearer to my (then) boyfriend (now hubby!) We have one daughter (18 month old), 2 dogs, a bearded dragon lizard, a gerbil and a fair number of tropical fish spread between two tanks. I work for the RSPCA part time as an Animal Care Assistant and I also have my own business ("Ace Animals") where I specialise in animal behaviour and training, pet sitting, dog walking, grooming, etc.

My Interests

Animals (of course!), horse riding, science, photography and webdesign
