If the latest article is true heaven help her children who will be learning nothing from her about having loyalty and empathy.

I read this last night and am hoping that now she has gone public no one will let her have a puppy again, but there's always someone. I think at least one of them came from a rescue as well, can't bear to read it all again, I wanted to slap her

It does sound like scandal sheet drivel...one would hope. Otherwise she sounds like a pure imbecile who should be banned from owning dogs or human children as well. what kind of monster would keep telling a young child " Oh it's okay we're giving away Bosco, we're getting a NEW puppy".
Besides the idiocy of puppies being all that great. We always adopted adults, potty training, teething, adolescence, I did my time with little humans, I'm done.

I have a kennel that is about 50% "usta be a cute puppy".
Even though a lot of these K9's had "a few to quite a few" not so good habits/behaviours they are now good, strong, full of life and happy sleddogs.
When reality set in (re: responsible pet owner ship) the humans didn't want the k9's anymore and some actually wanted more money than what they were originally sold for because "we spent lots of $$ and time raising it".
I personally feel this type of people should not keep pets at all, anytime , for any reason....except maybe if they are dying of a terminal illness and need K9 &/or feline companionship....
and WOW... these pets won't even hold it against these humans.
Another reason for my loving my dogs more everyday as opposed to humans.
I believe also that all dog owners should watch for this baby pet fetish/OCD/???(& a lot of other pet owner behaviours) and keep logs and info agencies.
