Dog walks again ... on artificial limbs

Brutus, a 2-year old Rottweiler, is walking again thanks to modern technology and months of training. He's said to be only the second dog ever known to have four prosthetic limbs.

Don't know how I feel about this. Ok this has worked out well but what about the ones that don't. Also would have been Mega expensive and a lot more dogs could have been helped by the money.

I'm forced to agree. The 250 dogs that Ortho Pets help each year with those contraptions (that Brutus is absolutely uncomfortable in and is trying to kick off) could no doubt be food, medical care, and upkeep of many more dogs. I won't say it's a WASTE of money, just not the best use of it IMO. They also said they were going to get him new, better ones, which likely are actually a WASTE of money.

The way he walks is exactly like my Beardie did when he had boots on to keep his feet clean at shows

Most dogs walk like this in boots. They don't like them. It looks so silly... but I guess it's the only way he can walk.
