Oh yes did this when we had a number in the house. Watching paint dry comes to mind. Mind you it was funny when we had a border collie called Alpha. He desperately tried to get the girls to play but they were having none of it and they prefered to sleep until we came home. Loved him though. He was so good with everyone and every animal. Gone now.

Nothing strange at all about this behaviour! Oakley is the clown of the trio ... he is trying to get the other 2 more sober huskies to play.

Oakley's running up and down on the sofa is exactly what all my northern crosses have done when let off their leads on the set-aside. They charge round and round going loony ... I call it Ben's loo loo moment! Not exclusive behaviour to huskies of course, my daughter's chihuahuas do it as well ... hurtle round and round in circles just having a great time.

The thing that does surprise me about the video is the trust that the owners of the 3 huskies place in their trio!! I don't know of any husky or northern breed that you could leave home alone, uncrated, with access to all that lovely destructable furniture!! All mine would have shredded that room in minutes.

I wonder in fact if they are left home alone for any length of time uncrated ... it may have just been a set up!

All I can say about my two is that if they have got up to any mischief whilst I'm out, then they've done a very good job of tidying up before I get back!

We had seven dogs at the time of videoing and never came back to any destruction just a load of sleepy dogs and Alpha being a bit miffed that no one would play with him.
