The search for Bertie continues

The search to find a Guernsey dog that disappeared nearly a month ago continues, despite a huge online campaign to find him.

Bertie, a grey Schnauzer rescue dog, was last seen in Capelles on 8 November at 6pm and has not been seen since.

The GSPCA have said they have received a number of recent reports in the Perelle area, which could have been Bertie, but still have no pictures to confirm it was him.

Many of the sightings have been late at night or in the early hours of the morning, as is often the case with nervous dogs that are stray.

The dog’s owners, Clive and Lynn McMinn, are offering a £200 reward for his return and have launched a social media campaign to find him.

The public are being urged to spread the word using social media and the hashtag '#FindBertie' along with calling the GSPCA if there are any sightings of him.

I do hope that Bertie is found safe, soon and well, and can be reunited with his owners
