I know a properly trained working gundog is worth a heck of a lot of money, so I can understand why they would be targeted, also they are often in kennels away from the main house, so not as difficult to steal one either. Its all very sad, but as long as there are people out there prepared to buy one, no questions asked, then this will continue unfortunately
