Dog walker finds human leg near Rochdale
The leg was first found by a dog walker near the Healey Conservative Club in Market Street, Whitworth, near Rochdale, yesterday afternoon.
A search of the location by police then revealed the remainder of the body.
It is not yet clear how long the leg has been there or whether it belonged to a man or a woman.
An extensive search in fields and countryside around the club resulted in officers finding the rest of the body.

Poor victim, whoever he or she was, and poor dog walker finding such a gruesome discovery.

When they identity the body.God knows how long this person has been missing and family and friends lives put on hold,wondering what happened to them.At least now they'll get a proper burial and be laid to rest in peace...so sad.
