Green revamp for dog rescue centre

A dog rescue centre in Nottinghamshire is being given an eco-friendly makeover as part of a Ł1.75 million project.

Jerry Green Dog Rescue had its Blidworth centre demolishes after the 26-year-old building was deemed beyond repair in terms of modern and welfare-friendly facilities.

Am I a wee bit puzzled why so much money is going to a rescue which can only cope with 30 dogs, or am I missing something here.

I would soon support a smaller dog rescue, where they can look after and care properly for the dogs than a large one where they have problems coping with so may animals.
I would say 30 dogs was about right.
"Eco-friendly makeovers" always seem to cast more, a bit like organic veg???
