It also highlights the danger of allowing small children to play on pavements close to the road...

Brilliant video capture wasn't it? Not nice seeing the little kid get dragged off his bike but - WHAT A MOGGY!

Kids should be able to play just outside their homes on the pavements in safety. This family had a surveillance cam set up. It's the DOGS that shouldn't be allowed to roam about. Too many kids are confined to the house stuck inside glued to video and computer screens these days.

My kids played outside. As my youngest son commented last week after taking the boys night fishing with him - when you are OLD you won't remember the nights you sat up playing Minecraft!

Just watched it on tv too. My kids always used to ride their bikes on the pavement out the front with me keeping a watchful eye.
The owners of the dog claimed he'd just escaped from their garden but they weren't exactly in hot pursuit were they.

Wow, what an amazing cat!

It was horrible seeing the dog attack the child though.

What a brave cat.............. TBH can see anything wrong with he child playing (supervised) outside his own front door, in his own driveway!

The child was on the pavement at the edge of the road before going onto the driveway, and that is what concerned me.

To be honest, I think the dog should have been put down after that totally unprovoked and vicious attack.
