Wonderful Healing Powers of Dogs

My oldest lad had a fit a couple of nights ago resulting in mild concussion, a face that's a mess and other minor cuts and bruises.

He came to my house hardly able to focus, very grey faced and very confused.

He came in and lay down on the sofa. Rosie immediately jumped up, lay beside him and put her head on his chest.

Unless I'd seen it, I wouldn't have believed it, Gary smiled and the colour came back into his face almost immediately.

Rosie usually jumps up behind either myself or my hubby when we have visitors, but it was as if she knew she could help.

She's a good little girl

Wonderful story Chirs - have featured the thread for our new homepage

Add a photo of Rosie too if you can - so she gets a proper five minutes of fame

Hope Gary gets well soon.

She's a good girl and, I swear, she's often more human than dog.

Awww bless her

They say pets actually do have a calming effect, they help with heart rate and all sorts - one of the reasons they recommend cats to people with heart disease

Look at those eyes - She's been here before! Beutiful girl x

PS meant to say anyway - PAT dogs that visit patients in hospital do a wonderful job.
