My Ear!

Yesterday Mum took me to see the vet. After our last walkie last night something went in my ear. It's so irritating so I shook my head to try to get it out but it wasn't going anywhere. Then I put my head on the side and that didn't work either. I then had a scratch and that really hurt and I yelped a little bit. Mum put me in the car but I put up a bit of a fight but she got me in there in the end. On the way we got stuck in traffic and I felt a little unwell and started to cry. Then all of a sudden I was sick all over the seat and cried even more. Mum didn't shout though, she stroked my head and wasn't at all cross. When we got there, we saw a lady who looked in my ear with a light and she said it was a grass seed. I'm afraid I cried and cried when she tried to get it out then another lady came and tried to pull it out but she couldn't do it either. We had to get medicine to take home and Mum has to put 2 lots of drops in every day for 6 days. I don't like it much and wiggle about lots. I hope it comes out soon otherwise I have to go back on Saturday and I don't want to. I would rather Mum spent the money on treats for me - £50 would buy lots and lots of treats! I will let you all know how I get on soon.
Lots of Love, Vinnie

Poor you Vinnie, I hope that nasty grass seed isn't giving you too much grief, and comes out soon, it sounds as if you were trying to be so brave at the vets, poor little fella, I'm sending you big, gentle (((hugs)))

Hi my little furry friends. Not had time to do my blog lately as I've been busy in Mums new house. I keep on making her bed all comfy by ripping up the sheets but she keeps on buying nice new one's for some reason. Also I had to christen the new wooden flooring by weeing on it. Think Mum wants the same floor in the kitchen so I ripped up the lino all ready for the new stuff cos I'm helpful like that. I've been spending lots of time on the new rug in front of the fire which is lovely on these cold nights especially as my paws get very wet and muddy. Rugs are good for wiping paws on! I'm not very happy with the big gate Mum has put on the kitchen door as I cant get out into the bedroom or the living room to play with the furniture (it's very very tasty). As I'm stuck in the kitchen now when Mum is out, I have to be content with eating the kitchen cupboards and the door of the cooker, quite tasty though! I still get loads of kisses and cuddles though so I must be doing something right. Now I'm 10 months old I think Mum would like me to calm down a little as she looks at me funny and sighs all the time. Think she still loves me though. I'll keep you posted. Love & licks, Vinnie xxxx
